Kathryn Maxwell WEATHERWAX, a former resident of the Waveland community, died in St. Petersburg Fla Saturday following an illness of four weeks. She and her husband had lived in Flordia for the past ten years. She was the daughter of Fred and Lou Munns Maxwell. She married Harold Weatherwax May 10, 1925. They raised four orphaned children of her sister, Mrs. Ruth Weaver. Survivors are the husband; two cousins, Mrs. John Campbell of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Stanley Harris, New Ross; three nieces and two nephews. Funeral services were held at St. Petersburg. - kbz

School news - Helen Maxwell of the 8th grade has been absent for a number of days on account of sickness. She may have to go to the hospital.
